How the track-by-track close actually works
Accenture does not run one window that shuts on a date. It opens roles rolling and closes each track as it fills, which produces a staggered calendar within a single recruiting season.1

The posting language tells you the rest. One Consulting Summer Analyst listing stated the role would remain open until at least October 8, that applications were accepted on a rolling basis while posted, and that the job may close before the stated closing date.2 That last clause is the operative one.
The timeline that actually matters
Postings open in the late summer of the year before the internship, roughly eight to eleven months before a June start.1 For summer 2027 that puts the opening window at August to September 2026.4
From there, final rounds typically run November through February, with offer decisions landing March to April.53 Accenture rolls offers rather than holding spots for a deadline, so the first wave of applicants gets first pick.5
Campus timelines can run faster still. One university careers listing showed an Accenture Consulting Summer Analyst deadline of October 16 in the prior cycle.6 If Accenture recruits at your school, follow the campus date rather than the national posting.5
Two hard gates before you apply
Work authorization
The firmest requirement is US work authorization that will not require visa sponsorship.1 This is a gate rather than a preference, and it is worth confirming your status against the posting before you spend a slot on the application.
GPA
Accenture does not publish a strict cutoff, but 3.0 or higher is generally expected across tracks, and the Strategy Summer Analyst program requires at least a 3.3 based on its job descriptions.3 Independent guidance puts 3.3 as a practical floor for the Strategy and Consulting track at most offices, with stronger offices pushing higher in practice.5
Major matters less than GPA, communication and demonstrated problem solving.5 If you are below 3.0, leading with internship experience or project work carries more weight than the transcript.5
Final rounds run November through February

Accenture runs one of the largest early careers programs anywhere, with roughly 791,000 employees serving clients in more than 120 countries, and its summer analyst class is the main feeder into full-time analyst roles.1 The firm publishes no intern headcount and no acceptance rate.1
The honest read is a very large program that stays genuinely selective at the top consulting, strategy and AI tracks.1 It also ranks ninth in North America on the Vault Consulting 50 for 2026, and interns rate the experience 4.2 out of 5 on Glassdoor.1
Treating Accenture as a volume safety school is the wrong model, particularly given you get one application per country.
