The games

Practice all three, end to end

The exact games McKinsey can send you. Tap any card to see how it works, step by step.

Redrock rewards staying organized under pressure far more than any single hard calculation, which is exactly what trips most candidates up on the day. Here is the full flow you will drill.

McKinsey grades both your final answers (product score) and how you work the problem (process score). This simulator mirrors both, so practice builds the habits that count.

Sea Wolf is the newest and most overtly mathematical game. The catch is that individually ideal microbes almost always carry a disqualifying trait, so the real skill is blending out-of-range extremes into a valid combination, sometimes when no perfect score even exists.

Some sites are deliberately tuned so a perfect score is impossible, just like the real exam. You are graded on how close your trio averages land to the targets, so a smart compromise beats chasing perfection.

Futures Lab is the situational judgment game. Choices branch, so there is no single script to memorize. It rewards consistent, defensible reasoning and stakeholder awareness over raw math, and it is the game candidates most often underestimate.

Why Solve Hub

Everything you need to be ready

Not a study guide. A working replica of the assessment, so practice feels like the real thing.

Three full simulators

Redrock, Sea Wolf, and Sustainable Futures Lab, each rebuilt to mirror the real game flow step for step.

Real time pressure

One shared clock and a timeout that auto-submits, exactly like assessment day. No untimed practice mode crutch.

McKinsey-accurate scoring

Grading modeled on the real product and process logic, so your score means something.

Progress analytics

Every attempt tracked. See score trends per game and a readiness score that climbs as you improve.

Numbers change every run

The data randomizes on every attempt across our scenarios, so you build the skill instead of memorizing one answer key.

Progress tracking

Know exactly where you stand

Guessing whether you are ready is the worst part of prep. Solve Hub turns every run into data, so you can see it.

A readiness score that climbs. One number that blends your coverage and your scores, updated every run.

Candidates who walked in ready

★★★★★
I went in expecting Redrock to wreck me on time. After a week with the simulator I had a routine, logged figures fast, and the real thing felt familiar. Made it to final round.

★★★★★
The Sea Wolf averaging logic is exactly where I kept losing points. Drilling the trade-offs here is what finally got my score up before the real assessment.

★★★★★
Most prep is theory. This was the only thing that actually felt like sitting the assessment, clock and all. No surprises on test day.
SM
Sofia M.
Incoming Business Analyst, McKinsey
★★★★★
Futures Lab caught me off guard in my first mock runs, which is exactly why the judgment calls felt manageable on the day. Worth it for that game alone.
TA

Consultant, BCG
★★★★★
The readiness tracker kept me honest. I stopped guessing whether I was prepared and just trained until the number climbed. Then I passed.
