The one office rule
L.E.K.'s most important global application rule is unusually specific: candidates may submit an application to only one global office per year.4 Not one per region, not one per role. One, globally, per year.
L.E.K. also says recruiting seasons and interview details vary by region and level, and the live regional posting controls title, level, employment type, start date and eligibility.4 The vacancy also decides degree level, graduation window, academic requirements, experience, language and work authorization.4
Practical consequence: do not use another region's deadline or document list, and do not treat a campus event registration as an application.4 Both are listed as common mistakes.

L.E.K. states it is not able to consider candidates at the undergraduate level who would now or in the future require sponsorship to work legally in the US.8
That wording is broader than a simple visa question. It covers future need as well as present need, which rules out candidates who would eventually require H-1B support. Confirm your position before you spend your single office application on this firm.

L.E.K. uses a fixed application window with a hard deadline rather than published rolling review.1 That is different from most of the boutique wave.

The program runs 8 to 10 weeks starting in June, opening with a week of training alongside peers from all US offices before roughly eight weeks of real casework in your home office.2 Summer Associates are dedicated fully to a single project and can expect one to two projects across the summer, with the role described as essentially the same as a full-time Associate.2
